On Monday the class 6b with their teachers Mr and Mrs Fink and the class 7b with their teachers Mrs Nolden and Mrs Batstone started their trip to England by coach and ferry. We drove by coach to the ferry in Dunkirk. We sailed from Dunkirk to Dover and after that by coach again to the host families. On Tuesday we drove to Stonehenge in Amesbury. It was very interesting. After that we drove to Portsmouth and there we took a boat trip. After that we visited HMS Victory, the ship of Captain Lord Nelson. On Wednesday we went to the Seven Sisters (Beachy Head). The highest is 150m high. Then we went to Brighton Pier. It is an amusement park where you can have fun. Afterwards we went shopping in Brighton. On Thursday we drove to London. The coach driver showed us the Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the River Thames. After that we bought our tickets for the London Eye. It was very exciting. Then we shopped in souvenirs shops On Friday we went back to Germany by coach and ferry. (Sura and Alessandra, 7b)

We went on a class trip to England. We went to Stonehenge, to Portsmouth to Lord Nelson’s ship the HMS Victory, to the beach, to Brighton and to London. I liked the trip. But the best of all was London. We saw Big Ben. It’s very big. Then we went on the London Eye and took lots of pictures. One round took 30 minutes. London Eye is the biggest and highest wheel in the world. London has many great shops with great souvenirs. The weather in London was very rainy and windy. London is a very big, a very pretty and a very interesting city. I loveLondon. But actually, I liked everything the same and I hope we can have an eventful time again some day. (Victoria, 6b)
